ALAI (Ecuador) Gender and Communications Web - ALAI's Women's Program actively promotes the right to communicate, and a gender focus in
communication. ALAI drew up proposals on communications for the 4th World Conference on Women
and, in concertation with other organizations, contributed to the chapter on Women and the Media of the
Beijing Platform for Action. This Web site gathers documentary material on these issues, in Spanish,
English and French.
APC Women's Networking Support Programme -
The APC Women's Programme aims to increase women's access to training and facilitate information
flow between North, South, East and West on gender issues. It offers opportunities to women and
women's organizations in all regions of the world, but has a particular focus on redressing inequalities in
access to technology related to social and ethnic marginalization and the North-South technological gap.
The Programme includes four main components: information flow, outreach, training, and research and
policy

Global Fund for Women - The Global Fund for Women is an international organization which focuses on female human rights. It supports issues as diverse as literacy, domestic violence,
economic autonomy, and the international trafficking of women, among others.
It supports women's groups based outside of the U.S.

The aim of the Global Network on Food Security is to promote community action linked to global
discussion on food security
GreenPeace - Greenpeace is an independent, campaigning organisation which uses non-violent, creative
confrontation to expose global environmental problems, and to force the solutions which are
essential to a green and peaceful future..
International Lesbian and Gay
Association (ILGA) - The International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA) is a world-wide federation of national and local groups dedicated to achieving human rights for lesbians and gay men
around the globe. Founded in 1978, it now has more than 400 groups and individual
members in more than 60 countries. They range from small collectives to national networks
and entire cities.
Lesbian Mothers Support Society (LMSS) - LMSS is a non-profit group which strives to provide peer support for lesbian parents (biological and nonbiological) and their children, as well as those lesbians considering parenthood. Through social functions such as potlucks and children's activities, lesbian families are able to share experiences and support each other in a positive environment. We also attempt to provide legal/medical/psychosocial referrals as needed.
